Here is a delicious recipe for Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce – perfect for a hearty and creamy dish!

Ingredients:

For the steak:

  • 2 beef steaks (e.g., ribeye or filet)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the garlic cream sauce:

  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the steaks: Take the steaks out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the steaks: Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare). Remove from the pan and let them rest.
  3. Make the garlic cream sauce: In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the chopped garlic briefly. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, mustard, and lemon juice. Stir and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve: Pour the hot sauce over the steaks, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!

Tip: This goes perfectly with crispy potatoes or steamed vegetables.
