Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Wings:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- Season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Bake the Wings:
- Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping them halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
- Make the Honey BBQ Sauce:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add BBQ sauce and honey, stirring well. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Coat the Wings:
- Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the honey BBQ sauce until fully coated.
- Add the Cheese:
- Place the sauced wings back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar (or cheese mix) and Parmesan over the wings.
- Melt the Cheese:
- Return the wings to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Garnish & Serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley (optional) and serve hot!
